KHS Annual Science Fair 2019

The annual KHS Science fair is always a grand event! Students from every class take part and choose projects to work on and display for faculty, parents and other visitors.

The day was an interesting one - while primary students educated us on the nuances of traffic rules, explained where different foods come from, taught us how to read time and ensured we were well aware of what household items are not to be played with, the older students wowed onlookers with elaborate working models of hydraulic cranes, volcanos, LED screens, models historical events, electric circuitry and other truly impressive feats of design and DIY engineering.

Janamashtami 2019

At The Karl Huber School, we take our culture seriously and every Indian and International occasion is celebrated with great enthusiasm! Janamashtami is no different.

The primary wing pulled out all the stops and our adorable little Huberites celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna by dressing up in full costume! The entire day was spent watching 4 foot tall Krishnas and little Radhas scurrying around campus. The day commenced with a puja and a traditional celebration and was both educational and enjoyable for faculty and students alike!

Interhouse Basketball 2019

The only way to build a strong sports team is to compete, compete, compete. Whether it is with other teams or among your own. Between inter-school matches, KHS sports teams represent their houses in competition with each other. This ensures our champions have all the practise they need to stay in shape and gain that winning edge that KHS sports teams are known to have. Under the watchful eye of Coach Chetan the boys and girls inter-house basketball teams duke it out on the court for the coveted annual KHS Inter-House Basketball Trophy.

FAREWELL CLASS OF 2019-20

As educators we watch our students grow over the years from clumsy toddlers who bump into walls and trip over their own shoe-laces into confident, versatile and independent young adults with drive, ambition and the grit to take on the world.

The bitter-sweet end to the teacher-student relationship culminates on that final farewell when we bid goodbye to our graduating class, many of whom we have known for over a decade. It is a complicated occasion that is sombre, solemn, celebratory and joyous - but above all, it is an outpouring of love and mutual respect.

There is singing, dancing, performances and humor - but there is also a prayer as the graduating class moves on to take on the world, making way for the next batch and our dear teachers once again buckle down to moulding India's next lot of champions.

KHS Sports Teams - Creating waves since 1995

The sports culture at The Karl Huber School is a strong one. Since our inception, Madam Chairperson Dr. Anjali Trivedi has been firm in her stand that scholastic excellence is the primary goal, but that there can be no compromise on physical activity, team sports and healthy competition. Known throughout the NCR, KHS teams in basketball, cricket, volleyball and kabaddi have collected trophy upon trophy at meets and inter-school events in all levels of competition. Our teams are trained and supported by our Coaches, Mr. Rajender and Mr. Chetan who are both highly accomplished, multi-disciplinary masters of their crafts. Aided by a highly structured sports program and an enthusiastic, supportive faculty and student body cheering them on, our champions make us proud every single time! GO HUBER!!

KHS v.s. COVID-19: Online Classes 2020

On March 22, 2020 our honourable Prime Minister announced a nation-wide lockdown and from that moment, our lives changed, possibly forever. At first, we didn't know what to do or how to handle the situation. There were countless concerns but we knew somehow the education of our students could not stop. Under the able guidance and leadership of our Chairperson and Principal, we launched an offensive against Covid. We brought the best technology, the faculty was rallied and with an almost warrior-like vigour we dived head on into the challenging mess that was online-classes.

KHS teachers went well beyond their call of duty, literally risking their lives to reach school each day to conduct online classes in a proper classroom, with the correct technology and resources - like true professionals. The result-not a day of classes missed, and not a single child left behind.

KHS v.s. COVID-19: INDEPENDENCE DAY 2020

It is the 15th of August 2020. We are still under lockdown. Students still can't come to school.

But it is Independence Day. It is ironic that we are celebrating our freedom under so many restrictions but the moment we forget, the virus has won. And so, in true Karl Huber fashion, Mrs. Smita Mishra, our Principal took it upon herself to make sure the tricolour flew tall and strong. A live broadcast was sent out to the students and their parents and all were encouraged to attend the online event. There were patriotic songs sung by the teachers, and speeches by our Hon. Chairperson Dr. Anjali Trivedi and Principal. With social distancing enforced, the team at KHS celebrated their freedom truly like they never have before!

KHS v.s. COVID-19: Extra Curricular Activities

So we got our online classes down. Currently The Karl Huber School is running among the most well equipped, seamless, professional online classes in NCR.

With an over 80% daily attendance and all classes being conducted in a classroom setting, we have now grown comfortable with the technology and so have our students. But we are nothing at Karl Huber if we aren't constantly hungry for a challenge - so up came the question, "Studies are fine, what about physical-ed and co-curricular?"

Mrs. Mishra, our respected Principal got the team together and we racked our brains and a few days later rolled out the NCR's first comprehensive co-curricular program! KHS students now do yoga, aerobics, learn basketball and football skills and even have assembly with a prayer and the national anthem first thing in the morning. It is like being right back at school!
